Blackfest is Liverpool’s annual grassroots Black Arts festival, combining music, theatre, film, visual arts, spoken word, and poetry from a huge range of Black artists. Hosted in community spaces and established venues across the city centre, the festival programme always offers a new take on life, culture, and the arts in Liverpool, and the events are always welcoming to visitors from all backgrounds.

Their 2020 line-up of events include an independent film day at FACT (24th September), a healing day at Blackburne House (24th September), a spoken word night at The Bluecoat (28th September), and lots more.
