Liverpool City Council are preparing a new Local Plan which will cover the period up to 2041. We are inviting all interested parties to submit their suggestions on the content of the Plan and to provide information on potential development sites, or those which should be protected for particular uses.

As part of the Council’s Scoping Engagement, they are are holding 3 in person sessions where you can learn more about the local plan process, speak to members of the Planning Team and make representations about what you think should be included in a new Local Plan for Liverpool.

Liverpool City Council invites comments on the scoping document via an online survey, which includes an ‘ideas wall’ and interactive project map for your comments and ideas.

The Scoping Consultation and Call for Sites will run from 16th September to 24th November 2024. All representations will be taken into account in preparing the Liverpool Local Plan.
