Work we said would start at the begining of October has now been completed and the new fountain has been installed on 28th October.

This is the first of 3 new fountains that will be installed in the water-feature. More work to improve the water quality is on-going.

Major problems with the fountains at City Quay are about to be addressed in early October.

All the fountains are now clogged-up and cannot be repaired by the company that installed them and we have been unable to source one that will repair them. So we have agreed a contract with a new company to remove the present fountains and lights and to start a process of installing 3 new fountains and aerators. One will be installed this year and the other two in the next financial year.

The Fountain Company Ltd are the new contractor and they also have the contract for all Liverpool’s  water spaces in our parks.
